Ron LaPlace Interviews Adam Yellowbird DeArmon

Ron: I would like to begin by getting a little background on you and your unique position. As I have learned about you… you represent a bridge between diverse cultures and races and I would like to hear a little about how you got to be in that position.

Adam: I've had an opportunity growing up… ever since I was a little child in a multicultural background with my parents, living in nature camps — also learning Transcendental Meditation as a young child. By the age of 12 I had already acquired my 'sit-down' technique, where you sit and meditate for 20 minutes at a time and more, to enhance the awakening of spiritual consciousness. Also in my background, was being raised with the sweat-lodge and ceremonies from the indigenous and other cultures.

I grew up in a community, a commune, on the east coast near Baltimore, Maryland. It was called Heathcote. It was a thriving commune in the 1960's. It was a totally alternative lifestyle for the times… working with massage and other things. Actually, a lot of our teachers at the time were working with color and sounds therapies. This information was being brought in at that time and we were some of the early developers and designers… for instance, Jeff and Linda Riach who founded Oakworks massage tables — I was one of the first testers of their materials and products as a child and worked 'hands-on' with them.

Ron: So Adam, you are literally a child of the 60's?

Adam: Yeah, I would say so… protected and preserved (laughs). Born from the Flower of Life, in essence.

Ron: And how did your experience with the indigenous ways of life begin for you?

Adam: It was through different teachers who came through the Heathcote community. The community theme was 'returning to the natural world'. So many teachers came to teach us the indigenous ways — getting us out into nature; getting us attuned to the elementals and things like that; sharing the songs, theatre, dance — all actually in the natural world. So those were my first initiations into the indigenous world. 'Indigenous' has the meaning of living in harmony with our environment and our world. I was very privileged to be in a group of young ones who would have summer camps where various teachers came in to teach us these things.

Ron: So, did that interest in indigenous and native ways… did that stay with you throughout your youth, or did you move away from that for a time?

Adam: I always had that close to my heart. It was always there. As I got into my early teens I tried to get involved in sports and I found that for a time, my peers were going in other directions. But I always held strong in my routines — my meditation and my conscious awareness of being connected.

Ron: So how has this movement and awareness brought you to where you are now? How does this time of your youth connect to what you are doing now?

Adam: Hmmm… well, even back in my youth some of my teachers had looked into my future and they told me that I had certain responsibilities, and for some years I fought taking on what they were telling me about. They told me that in some way I would be a pioneer… on the front lines of the children that are coming in now… the Indigo and Crystal children. My teachers recognized me back then, and they shared a lot of information and knowledge about what was coming — for the days and the times that we are in now. It was very hard for me to take that responsibility at that time. They were telling me that I had to prepare my mind, body and spirit — my energetic body, the chakras, etc. I knew all about that wisdom and knowledge and so I followed their guidance. So even as a teenager I was working with healing Mother Earth, I just didn't put it into the full perspective that I carry now.

The techniques that I was raised with — the mantras, the visualizations — I was in practice and training, I was practicing what I now call "EarthWorks", a way of just being with the natural world.

Ron: So let's talk about some of the recent projects you have been working on.

Adam: Last November (2007) we were in Guatemala, which in some ways was a follow up for work we have also done just previously in Japan. We travelled to sacred shrines, mountain tops, and acupuncture points in Japan. What we were doing was setting the structure for what I call the Web of Life, connecting to the old programming and opening for a resetting and restructuring. The wise ones, the ancient ones who built those temples, our ancestors, had utilized a grid for anchoring energy on the planet. So the work we then did in Guatemala and Tikal was connected to that.

Ron: So you have worked for some time with the Consciousness Grid System that is connected to the earth? (Note — for a deeper understanding and discussion of what this Grid system represents, see Drunvalo's new book — Serpent of Light: Beyond 2012.)

Adam: Yes, since I was 12 years old I was aware of the grid. In the first stage there was certain preliminary work that had to be done to help clear energy of a lower vibration from the earth that had been set in place for thousands of years, and I became involved in this in an international way. You know, each sacred site has its own resonance to re-awaken a memory… what I call a cellular memory. This re-awakening is part of the Grand Plan that has been set for thousands of years and there are those who have returned at this time to help with the restructuring of the grid.

One of the most important messages that we are receiving from the Elders at this time is about our SELF… that it is time to reprogram, restructure, refocus the reflection back to our SELF. It is about healing the memory. When we do it for our self, we can them move forward and also do it in our family and our community and beyond.

The Elders are also speaking about the connection between the body, heart and spirit… how they are all essential in healing this memory. You know, for some time in my life I may have had this backwards… by being 'spiritual', and working on that plane so much. But by focusing on the body and getting it into divine alignment with the heart, that connection to spirit is instantly brought through. It's not that we have to go anywhere to find spirit, it is already here… we are already it.

I was given a symbol for that connection over 10 years ago. It is a 6 pointed star connected to a 5 pointed star, each with circles around them that forms 2 circles joined in the sign for infinity. The stars are gold and the circles are white with gold edging. The whole of this is then encapsulated in another white circle also with a gold edge. The gold symbolizes transformation and healing… what we are going through right now.

Ron: That is a similarity between yourself and Drunvalo then… you are both connected to and are using sacred geometry as a tool in affecting consciousness?

Adam: Yes. This is all encoded and locked inside of us. The geometry of the 6 and 5 are the most prominent in our cellular structure (the DNA), and when we start to resonate with that it opens up our own connection to the wisdom and knowledge that we have access to.

Ron: Now I'd like to move the discussion into the current times we are living in, leading up to the time of December 2012. I would like to hear your personal vision of this and also what you are hearing as you visit and speak to the Elders of the many communities you are involved with. First, is there anything that stands out as a common vision amongst the various sources?

Adam: Yes, I believe that everyone knows that this is the end of a cycle. We all know that something is changing, not only on a small scale but on a big scale and that this change is inevitable.

Humanity seems to be most comfortable when there is no change. So discomfort comes up when we are in a time like we are now. But times like these also bring the greatest opportunity for healing. We know that we can do this healing as an individual, and now we also have a great opportunity to do this collectively, in groups. For instance on the trip you and I just experienced to Guatemala and Tikal, people from all over the world came together to help in this transformation… this change that brings us back to the heart.

So the message I am receiving from the Elders and Wisdom Keepers, and from within, is that we need to all move through this change together. That is the dream, or the vision, that we hold. And that's what I believe we have in common… holding that vision, so that we can all move forward.

It's a re-congregation. Many of us have been here before, in pivotal points in time past, present or future, and now we have responsibilities and decisions to make as individuals, and collectively. This is what we are hearing in the meetings I attend. Let's all come together and collectively dream what the next 5 years are going to look like. I feel we are all tired of living with war and with fear. Now I believe Spirit, or Creator is gifting us with a new entrainment, or, potentially a new life plan for humanity.

Ron: So let's talk about a few specific things dealing with this new vision. Are you familiar with the term "The Return of the Ancestors"?

Adam: Yes… it's an important topic. We are actually living in that age, and it was foreseen or prophesized. It is the re-awakening and the conscious awareness of the men and women of wisdom returning. The ones who are walking now in this wave that carry the ancestral memory and that this is actually fully accessible through the restructuring of the DNA. It's happening simultaneously through our self, through Mother Nature, through our Sun and through our Galaxy. So it's an awakening on all these levels… through us and the young ones.

Also through the stars… the return of our ancestors from the stars, that have supported and been in alliance with us for thousands of years… working with us here.

Ron: What are the Elders saying about signs from the stars and from the heavens?

Adam: They say that there are many signs happening that are asking us to look closely at the heavens and to read the signs and signals. Remember to look above to our star connections. I have been speaking for many years about the solar flares… that they are like carriers for beings from the star nations coming through and they are speaking through the elements of water, earth, air and fire. That there are basic elemental properties that humanity has forgotten about and we have disconnected and distanced ourselves so that we don't know how to communicate anymore with these elemental forces… we don't know how to interpret their language.

Ron: So are you saying that things like natural disasters are really a language that is being spoken to us? It's like when our dreams speak to us at a subconscious level… these events are speaking to us and we need to learn their language?

Adam: Right. What they are is a great reflection of what is going on inside of us. If we are not properly connected or 'rooted' to Mother Earth then we are open to being shaken up. Just as a few general examples; if our emotions are out of balance then we may see something happening on the earth with Water overflowing, so that our emotions are affected; and the Air, the things we are saying to one another start spinning off into high winds or tornadoes if they are out of balance; the Fire, the chi or essence of where energy stems from… we see the results of anger or rage in fires affecting the earth. These things are a reflection of what is happening within us, the inhabitants of the earth, and are a communication to us to help us come back into balance. As we do that, these things we call natural disasters will harmonize and lessen.

Everything we see around us; the stars, the sun, the planets and moon… and everything we see within us; our body, our chakra and energy systems, etc… are all being reflected in a language that is speaking directly to us, whether we understand or not.

Ron: We know that in the traditions of some native tribes, like the Hopi nation, they are speaking about this time as a movement from the 4th to the 5th world. The Mayans say this is the end of the 5th cycle… each cycle being 5200 years long, and that it is the end of a Grand cycle of time. What is your feeling about the cycle of time we are in presently and what are you hearing from the Elders?

Adam: For many years I have been told that this will be a time of parallel paths — two coexisting paths… a negative and a positive polarization. They have told me that this is a pivotal point… one of the most creative of all times — a time when we can co-create and dream a new dream. We have the ability to create something new and different. We are in the driver's seat so to speak… so which direction will we go?

Ron: So collectively we are choosing the destination?

Adam: Yes, whether we are conscious of it or not… but those who are conscious and awake are really the ones doing the driving these days, and that is happening on both sides of the path. That's why it is important to be strong and awake, and to participate.

That's why it is important now to recognize the importance of our memory. We tend to remember and hold on to the negative path and it keeps us stuck in old ways. We are right at a time now where I think we have the tools to co-create in more positive ways and to keep this in our memory as we move into the shift and into the next phase. Finding a way to hold space within the heart is the key.

Ron: How then do you see that our thoughts and feelings affect this movement into the next phase? More specifically, how do you see that our fears affect us in this movement?

Adam: We know that fear holds a lower density. I think the greatest fear that people have is the fear of change. So, by recognizing our fear and by handing it over to that part of us that we recognize as a higher power, we can let it go. We all tend to find a sense of comfort with where we are at. If you let that go (and that means handing it over not to other humans, but to a higher power) we can find the strength in surrender. It's not about who is in control, it's about working with togetherness… as One. There can even be fear created in wondering how we can do this together.

Ron: Let's take an issue such as global warming. How do you see us coming through any fear around such an issue, and walking together through this as a community?

Adam: I believe that first we need to be clear in our message… about not responding to fear with more fear. We are living in a time that is part of a natural cycle that we are destined to go through. So care and attention needs to be given to how the message is sent out. If we can stay out of fear in how we handle whatever situations present them selves it can be much simpler than we might imagine. The universe is giving us answers and those answers cannot be heard when we live in fear.

Ron: So part of our responsibility as co-creators through this shift is to remain in our heart and to consciously let go of the fear?

Adam: Yes. There is actually a grid of fear around the earth and a lot of the work that is being done at this time, such as the recent journey to Guatemala and the trip to Easter Island that is happening very soon (as this issue of Spirit of Ma'at comes out) is helping to clean and clear the fear from what Drunvalo would call the Christ Consciousness grid. The Lakota's will call it the Spider Web of Light. The work that is being done is offering new opportunities for all of us to let go of our own fears… the baggage we have carried can be lightened or we can even let go of what is no longer serving us.

Ron: Adam, would you like to talk about any future events that you will be involved with in upcoming times?

Adam: In 2008 we have a trip planned to Japan to bring the Mayan Message to that part of the world and to work with the grid through the sacred temples and shrines in that area, and to work with the main fault lines of the 'Ring of Fire' to help stabilize and transmute/transform any energies as much as we can in the highest good. The tentative scheduling for that trip is March 8 through the 22nd. If people feel drawn to participate in this they can contact us through our website.

We have also started a Global Gatherings website, where we will be listing whatever gatherings and events that might be taking place all over the world. People can then participate in whatever they might feel drawn to by connecting energetically, lighting a candle or holding ceremony, etc.

By using the communication networks we can help and assist in the healing of the earth's grid by synchronizing our efforts whether we are in our homes or we are gathering at sacred sites all over the world.

We are also working on something in 2009 called 'The Return of the Ancestors and the Council of Future Wisdom Keepers' to be held in northern Arizona. We will be bringing the elders, wisdom keepers and youth from the 5 continents together to share their wisdom and knowledge in the continuance of the work we are speaking about in this interview, and to specifically transfer that information directly from the elders to the youth so that the future generations will have a direct lineage to this wisdom and knowledge. This is scheduled for April 18 through 28 of 2009. The Hopis will be involved, the Havasupai, the Denai, the Yavapai Apache and many others. We have to go through the appropriate channels and protocols and it is a large undertaking.

Ron: So, is there anything you would like to add as we close this interview Adam?

Adam: I would just like to give inspiration, courage and strength to everyone for them to begin taking responsibility for their lives and their actions, and go with their own instincts… with what they find within themselves, and know that they are fully supported at this time. Everything that we ever could dream or imagine is accessible to us right now. We just have to get out of our own way and let the Divine work with us and through us at this time. We can stop stumbling over our own feet and take steps forward… and we have a real 'knowing' of what those steps are. It's already there within us. That is the message I would like to share.
